[15a-211-11] The concentration measurement of glucose solution by using sub-terahertz wave

Terahertz (THz) electromagnetic wave includes a specific resonance frequency range which corresponds to the inter-molecular vibration or relaxation mode such as hydrogen bonds. Thus, it can detect the difference of hydration structure and measure the difference of solution. In this study, we measure concentration dependence on reflection intensity of glucose solution and albumin solution by using sub-THz wave. As a result, it has been confirmed that the reflection intensity decreases in proportional to the glucose concentration.
