[15a-213-10] Compact 12MW Microchip Oscillator-Amplifier System

We developped a compact Master Oscillator Power Amplifier system where both oscillator and amplifier are microchip lasers. This allows a very compact arrangement, where the seeder beam undergoes 4-pass amplification before being extracted. It is worth noticing that the amplification process also leads to substancial improvement of beam quality, which is due to the end-pumping design of the microchip amplifier. The final output beam is then near-Gaussian with a power of about 12MW.
