[15a-301-3] Measurement of Water Vapor Density in Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma with Gas-Liquid Interface for Synthesizing Performic Acid
Keywords:dielectric barrier discharge, gas-water interface, water vapor density
We measured water vapor (H2O) density in dielectric barrier discharges (DBDs) with gas-water interface using tunable diode-laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS). The results show that the water vapor density is relatively larger in a water-shield DBD device, in which the gas-water interface is inverted, than in a normal DBD device. This fact is related to the higher concentration rattio of performic acid produced from CO2 and water in the former device.
