[15a-422-7] A consideration of wall-plug efficiency for LEDs

Numerical simulation for the LED efficiency was carried out. The situation wherein the wall-plug efficiency exceeds unity was investigated. It is difficult to obtain devices with the wall-plug efficiency above unity in actual LEDs. However, such devices are available in principle. The possibility of energy harvesting system with combination of LED and PD was examined.
