In order to investigate the formation mechanism of the laser induced periodic surface structure (LIPSS) on the yttria-stabilized zirconia (3Y-TZP), cross-polarized pulse pairs were irradiated. Dependences on the time delay between the cross-polarized pulses was investigated.
