[15a-E206-5] Thermoelectric and structural properties of melt grown Zn4Sb3

In this work, we fabricated melt-grown β-Zn4Sb3 to enhance thermoelectric properties. The melt β-Zn4Sb3 ingots contained cracks, therefore, we optimized fabrication condition to prepare crack-free β-Zn4Sb3 ingots. First, starting materials Zn and Sb were melted at 923 K, and then annealed at 723 K. Cooling rate from melting to annealing was varied (2, 10, 20, 100 K/h). As a result we achieved high ZT = 0.93 at 500 Kin the case of 100 K/h.
