Superconducting strip photon detectors (SSPDs) are the most attractive single photon detectors for realizing society based on quantum communication networks and their developments have been activated all over the world. However, their operating priciples have not been experimentally confirmed yet. In this study, we electrically connected the superconducting strip with single flux quantum (SFQ) circuits in order to capture the flux quantum which should be forced out of the strip subsequently to a photon incidence.
