[15a-P8-15] Fabrication and Molecular Orientation of Phthalocyanine Thin Films Fabricated by Bar-Coating Method

Utilizing the bar-coating method which is a kind of solution process, uniaxially oriented thin films of organic semiconductor, the alkyl-substituted phthalocyanines (CnPcH2) which have high solubility and exhibit high carrier mobility have been fabricated. The molecular orientation and crystal structure of the films have been investigated by polarizing microscope, polarized absorption spectrum measurement and the grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) technique, and the mechanism of the orientation based on the columnar structure has been discussed.
