[15p-213-13] Generation of a High-Power and High-Quality Vector Beam by an Optical Fiber Amplifier with Phase Correction

In this talk, we preset a newly developed optical fiber amplifier generating a high-power and high-quality vector beam . A high-quality seed beam with radial polarization generated directly from a laser cavity is amplified. The power-scalability of the amplifier is experimentally evaluated. In addition, we demonstrate the phase compensation for the birefringence caused inside the fiber, which leads to the degradation of the beam quality of the amplified beam, by using a liquid-crystal variable retarder.
