[15p-213-3] Study on a PPMgLN device without degradation by CZ-growth striation

Realization of large-aperture periodically poled LiNbO₃ revealed a beam-distortion problem by CZ crystal growth striation. Although we previously proposed and demonstrated to solve this problem by use of X-axis CZ-grown crystal, other problem on crystal damage at high-voltage application for polarization inversion process still remained. In this presentation, we propose a new arrangement of CZ crystal growth striation and periodical poling structure to improve the damage problems.
