[15p-301-9] Innovative Synthesis of Hydrocarbon Fuels via Plasma Catalysis

Tomohiro Nozaki1, Seigo Kameshima1,2, Ryo Mizukami1 (1.Tokyo Tech, 2.JSPS DC1)

Keywords:Plasma Catalysis, Renewable Power, Power to Gas

After clarifying the role of nonthermal plasma in the energy problem, we will introduce the pulse reforming method developed to diagnose the reaction promoting effect induced by plasma, together with the emission spectroscopic analysis. We also introduce the reaction promotion effect and reaction mechanism by tracing the distribution and precipitation of carbonaceous matter over the catalyst pellet. Finally, the prospect of plasma catalysis reaction will be described.
