▼ [15p-313-10] Sensitive detection of neuron specific enolase by utilizing a plasmonic chip functionalized by polydopamine thin films
Keywords:Surface plasmon enhanced fluorescence, Polydopamine, Biosensor
In this contribution, a polydopamine (PDA) coated plasmonic chip is employed for the sensitive detection of neuron specific enolase (NSE) by using surface plasmon enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy. A plasmonic chip is a disposal metal coated diffraction grating enabling the direct excitation of the surface plasmons without a prism. By utilizing mussel-inspired adhesive PDA coating as the linker layer of anti-NSE capture antibody to the sensor surface, a rapid and inexpensive functionalization of a plasmonic chip is achieved. The detection sensitivity of NSE by using sandwich immunoassay will be discussed.
