△ [15p-416-4] The development of ultrathin film strain gauge sensor for measurement of fine skin deformation
Keywords:Conductive Polymer, Strain gauge sensor, thin film, Nanosheet
The wearable robot which supports human movement works on the basis of biological signals of operator, hence biological sensor is important. Then, we envisioned that the development of ultrathin film strain gauge sensor which follows human skin and record its fine deformation. An ultrathin film strain gauge sensor was fabricated by a Roll-to-Roll process and by an inkjet printing. The dynamic change in resistance under strain motion was measured by tensile test. The results showed that the resistance of the device reproducibly increased according to the magnitude of strain, and the gauge rates were calculated to be 3.14 by tensile. The Young’s modulus was calculated to be 36 MPa. It is suggested that the device has enough flexibility and ability to detect fine skin deformation.
