We have been studying the industrial applications of polymer hydrogels and have developed 3D gel printing systems which have an ability to free shape manufacture some objects of the hydrogels. This makes it possible to 3D print and develop mechanical devises made from much flexible materials, different from convenstional ones. We expect that flexibility, good touch feeling, and biocompatibility of the 3D printed gels will add high values to robots. Here we report the 3D printing systems and thier possible applications.
