[15p-501-16] Magnetoresistance due to charge-spin conversion by anomalous Hall effect

Keywords:anomalous Hall effect, magnetoresistance effect

Recently, it was found that the spin Hall effect originated from the spin-orbit interaction in nonmanetic heavy metal causes new type of magnetoresistance effect, known as the spin Hall magnetoresistance. On the other hand, it has been known that the spin-orbit interaction in ferromagnets causes the anomalous Hall effect. In this work, we develop a theory of magnetoresistance effect generated from the charge-spin conversion by the anomalous Hall effect.
