Lithium ion batteries exhibit the highest energy densities among all battery types. Organic electrolyte solution has been widely used in lithium ion battery, but possesses anxious effect on safety and environment. Solid electrolyte, instead of liquid ones, could overcome these issues and offer both high energy and power density. We prepared a series of La-Li-Co-O system and investigated its ionic conductivity together with characterization.
