△ [15p-514-10] Electric field induced magnetic-easy-plane reorientation in BiFe1-xCoxO3 single crystal

BiFe0.9Co0.1O3 exhibits ferroelectricity and weak ferromagnetism at room temperature. The magnetization (M) generated by DM interaction is expected to be coupled to spontaneous polarization (P). In this study, we show the existence of magnetic easy plane perpendicular to P and its reorientation after the electric polarization reversal through macroscopic magnetization measurement on BiFe0.9Co0.1O3 single crystal.
