[15p-B6-1] [INVITED] Superconducting Graphene: Fabrication and Electronic Structure

Takashi Takahashi1 (1.Tohoku Univ.)

Keywords:graphene, superconductivity

We prepared bilayer graphene on a SiC single crystal by annealing method, and then fabricated Ca-intercalated bilayer graphene by the atom-replacement method with Li and Ca atoms. We have studied the electronic structure by high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) and also performed the resistivity measurement as a function of temperature with the micro four-point-probe (4PP) method. As a result, we found that the fabricated Ca-intercalated bilayer graphene sample exhibits the rapid decrease of resistivity at around 7 K and finally the zero-resistivity at 2 K. This is the first direct observation of superconductivity in graphene.
