[15p-E204-2] Neutron scintillators and their applications

In this talk, novel neutron scintillators developed by Tokuyama and their applications are presented. The neutron scintillators consisting of Li-6 with gamma rejection capability realize comparable performance with He-3 detector, a gold standard of neutron detector for decades. Security instrument for nonproliferation of nuclear threat and real-time monitor for BNCT treatment are presented as application examples.
