Variety of transmitters and receivers have been developing toward terahertz wireless communications. We had proposed an integrated terahertz transmitter that is constructed of a bow-tie antenna, a resonant tunneling diode (RTD) and an uni-traveling-carrier photo diode (UTC-PD). In this paper, we report theoretical analysis for effects of a coupling structure of components in the transmitter on oscillation / modulation characteristics.
