[15p-P4-1] Doping Effects of Cu for Sintering Temperatures and Electrical Properties on (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3-based Ceramics

(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3 [BNT] ceramics are expected to be applied to high-power piezoelectric actuators as lead-free piezoelectric materials. On the other hand, in co-firing with the internal electrodes Ag - Pd, low temperature sintering of BNT ceramics is required from the viewpoint of reducing the amount of Pd and suppressing diffusion of Ag. In this study, we added copper to BNT ceramics and succeeded in reducing the sintering temperature to about 200 ° C. Also, the piezoelectric properties were almost the same as that produced at the conventional sintering temperature.
