[16a-311-1] Generation mechanism of asymmetric mode of coherent optical phonons via dynamical Jahn-Teller effect

We investigated a generation mechanism of coherent phonons by femtosecond laser pulses using quantum mechanical calculation with the electronic band and harmonic phonon model. We described the generation of asymmetric modes by considering dynamical Jahn-Teller effect. The results show that polarization dependence in the photo-excited process is same to that of the Raman tensor.
