[16a-311-5] Controlling the relaxation processes by substituent effects in conjugated dienes

Tailoring the relaxation pathways by substittution effects in conjugated dienes is reported. Previously, we reported the substitution effects on the relaxation dynamics of conjugated dienes by time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. In this talk, the theorerical relaxation pathways and the molecular structures at the conical intersectins will be presented. We find that the relaxation pathway is controlled by adding the substituents.
