We developed a wavelength-tunable external cavity laser for T-band (1000-1260 nm) WDM communication. The laser consists of an InAs QD gain chip and an AWG with optical switches. The laser can be tuned from 1049.7 nm to 1071.9 nm, and an output power of 1.2 mW at an injection current of 200 mA and a threshold current of 79 mA was obtained.
