Keywords:graphene oxide, functionalization

Graphene oxide (GO) has high reactivity and dispersiveness because of its functional groups. GO also has large specific surface area. These properties are suited for functionalization by organic compounds, and the applications to supercapacitors and sensors are expected. We succeeded to functionalize GO by spin-coating the novel organic molecules, but the reaction and structure is not understood. I will discuss the reaction mechanism by new experimental results.
