[16a-P1-8] Practice of Research Study Class using Teaching Materials on Balloon’s Buoyancy and Permeation of Carbon Dioxide
Keywords:classroom practice, Teaching materials research, membrane permeation
When dry ice is put in a plastic bottle and the mouth is closed with a balloon, the weight decreases with time. The increase in buoyancy due to the bulging of the balloon and the penetration of carbon dioxide at the rubber membrane of the balloon are considered to be the cause. Two students of the second year master's course as the PBL (Project Based Learning) subject of University of Fukui Graduate School of Engineering have developed the teaching materials with the theme of the above phenomenon, practiced class and reported the results. This time we will report on the practice of class in junior high school third graders at cooperative type combined junior high and high school.
