[16a-P3-9] High-Precision Low-Volume Dispensing Technique by Using Electroformed Tubes

High-precise dispensing of liquid is one of the most crucial steps to acquire reliable assay results. High-sensitivity analytical techniques for trace amounts of samples have been successively developed in high-throughput screening for drug development, comprehensive analysis of biological metabolites, and clinical diagnostic tests. Especially when a source sample volume is limited, the need for precise dispensing of submicroliter and nanoliter quantities is quite important. In the present study, we developed a positive-displacement high-precision dispensing technique using a nickel electroformed tube with a high-precision inner diameter accuracy.
