▲ [16a-P7-11] Analyzing Activities of L929 Cells Irradiated with An Atmospheric Pressure Plasma
キーワード:Plasma-on-chip device, Plasma-irradiation, Fibroblast cells
Low-temperature atmospheric pressure plasmas have been used in biomedical field. We have developed a MEMS device for irradiating cells cultured in liquid medium with low-temperature atmospheric pressure plasma. The device referred to as “Plasma-on-Chip” can be used to activate or inactivate single cells cultured in microwells by plasma-irradiation (Kumagai et al., Jpn. J. Appl. Phys. vol. 55, (2016) 01AF01). Previously, we tested plasma-irradiation to green algae Chlorella cells which were suspended in liquid medium (Okada et al., Arch. Biochem. Biophys., vol. 605, (2016) 11). In this study, we analyzed effects of plasma-irradiation to adherent cells. Here, we report two topics: plasma-irradiation to murine fibroblast L929 cells and culturing L929 cells in microwells fabricated in a Si chip.
