[16p-301-2] The trend and future of Neuro-Chips

Hiroshi Momose1, Tetsuya Asai1 (1.Hokkaido Univ.)

Keywords:neuromorphic, neuro-chip, RRAM

Historically, trends of designing of brain-inspired hardwares have been categorized into two groups based on neural network (deep learning) and neuromorphic science. Lots of neuromorphic devices and chips have been developed so far to mimic the functions of brains more precisely. In this symposium, roles of functional oxides in neuromorphic hardware will be presented from a view point of accelerating current deep learning trend.
