[16p-301-7] Role of oxide materials in neuromorphic control systems

Yasushi Hotta1 (1.Univ. of Hyogo)

Keywords:neuromorophic control system, stochastic resonace, emergent function

Given the history and current state of development of semiconductor devices based on silicon technology, it can be seen that there is a large gap between them and developers of new functional material devices in the development of neuromorphic systems. Now that neuromorphic hardware development is in its early stages, what kind of functions are actually needed, what kind of requests from the application side are, we will discuss about these topics from the viewpoint of material science.
