▲ [16p-301-9] Is my device neuromorphic?
Keywords:Neuromorphics, SrTiO3
The nonlinear transfer present in artificial neurons and the tuning of the conductivity of the artificial synapses are two key features in neuromorphic systems. Therefore, electronic devices presenting nonlinear transfer or modulation of conductivity are identified as candidates for neuromorphics. However, when it comes to the development of truly efficient and intrinsically useful neuromorphic devices, there are criteria that make the difference. In this talk we will focus on the criteria to make diagnosis whether a device may be neuromorphic. As an example, we present our SrTiO3-based devices. They meet the criteria above, but present shortcomings in other aspects.
