[16p-302-1] Molecular design of high mobility organic semiconductors: limitation and perspective

The authors have been involved in the elaboration of new organic semiconductors that can afford high-mobility organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). The state-of-the-art OFETs have achieved very high mobility comparable to or exceeding the amorphous silicon-based transistors. For realizing further advancement of materials for OFETs, the present contribution will try to discuss possibility of molecular designs of organic semiconductors.
