Keywords:parametric amplification, infrared fs laser, energy scaling

In this work, we further scaled up total output energy of our IR laser (signal + idler) to over 200 mJ using the DC-OPA method. Conversion efficiency reached ~30% which shows an excellent energy scaling ability. Spectra of signal and idler support ~ 40 fs (FWHM) pulse durations. To the best of our knowledge, this work achieved the highest energy IR fs laser source with its wavelength in the 1−2 um region. These high energy pulses are very useful for energy scaling of tabletop sub-keV soft-x-ray source using high-order harmonic generation.
