There are many reports about an antitumor effect of plasma activated medium (PAM). However, the mechanism is unclear. In this study, we focused on Warburg effect, which is an activation of glycolysis in cancer cells, and metabolome of cancer cells were investigated. As a result, glycolysis was down-regulated by the PAM and it might induced by down-regulating of a NAD+ synthesis enzyme, NAMPT.
