Polymer nanocomposites provide significant improvement in their optical, mechanical and thermal properties over bulk polymer materials. As a result, photonic nanocomposite devices with high-performance photonic functionalities can be achieved. This talk aims to review our on-going works on photopolymerizable nanocomposite materials. Their fundamentals and applications are presented.
