Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms. For the application to electronic devices, it is important to synthesize graphene on insulators. In this study, we synthesized graphene on sapphire substrates by using alcohol chemical vapor deposition. After evaluations of samples, we found three peaks of graphene from Raman spectrum, and estimated domain size to be under 500 nm from SEM image.
