[16p-F206-4] Rheological Diagnosis of Single Cancer Cells by Atomic Force Microscopy
Keywords:cancer cells, atomic force microscopy
The mechanical property of cells is one of the indicators for cancer cell diagnosis. The precise estimation of large intrinsic cell-to-cell mechanical variations is crucial to discriminate normal and cancer cells at the single cell level. In this study, we investigate how the atomic force microscopy has an ability to diagnose normal and cancer cells by measuring the spatial distribution of rheological properties of single cells.
