[16p-P1-3] Morphology of welded glass using ultrashort laser microwelding

In this paper, we present the morphology of welded glass substrates after ultrashort laser microwelding. After the ultrashort laser microwelding with 1.06 μm, 250 fs, 1 MHz ultrafast laser pulses, the welded sample was investigated with a an automatic tensile tester and a confocal laser scanning microscope. The relationship between joint strength and the maximum height of cleaved substrate was evaluated.
