Semi-shell nanostructure is a metal nanostructure which dielectric nanoparticle is partially covered by metal. We are studying the fabrication of photothermal material having wide range of resonance wavelength by introducing aluminum as a shell metal to semi-shell structure. In this experiment, existence of resonance wavelength shift caused by thermal deformation of nanostructure and effect of passivation were studied by heating aluminum semi-shell nanostructures directly. We would like to demonstrate here thermal stability and plasmonic abruption spectra in Al semi-shell nanostructures.
