[16p-P13-10] Electrical detection of VO₂ phase transition under plasmons

VO₂ phase transition behavior under plasmon resonance of Ag NR was monitored by resistivity measurements. Ag NR with short- and long-axes of 98.4 and 176 nm were fabricated on a thin VO₂ film. We clearly observed that the apparent phase transition temperature of VO₂ was decreased only under Ag NRs plasmon excitation, indicating that plasmons of Ag NRs assisted phase transition of VO₂.
