In this study, P-doped diamond electrodes were fabricated by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition method for the electrochemical reduction of dissolved CO2 in aqueous media. Compared with B-doped diamond electrode, the hydrogen evolution due to water electrolysis at P-doped diamond electrode was hardly occurred. Therefore, the dissolved CO2 in aqueous solution could be reduced without effects of hydrogen evolution.
