[16p-P3-23] Fabrication of n-Type Polycrystalline Diamond Electrodes by Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition for Electrochemical Reduction of CO2
Keywords:Diamond electrode, Phosphorus-doping, CO2 reduction
In this study, P-doped diamond electrodes were fabricated by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition method for the electrochemical reduction of dissolved CO2 in aqueous media. Compared with B-doped diamond electrode, the hydrogen evolution due to water electrolysis at P-doped diamond electrode was hardly occurred. Therefore, the dissolved CO2 in aqueous solution could be reduced without effects of hydrogen evolution.
