[16p-P6-2] Bulk-heterojunction Organic Solar Cells with Glass Sandwich Cell Structure

Bulk-heterojunction organic solar cells with glass sandwich cell structure utilizing the liquid crystalline phthalocyanine, 1,4,8,11,15,18,22,25-octahexylphthalocyanine (C6PcH₂), have been fabricated. Photo-conversion efficiency has successfully been enhanced by optimizing the blend ratio of donor and acceptor molecules. The photovoltaic properties were discussed by clarifying the relationship between the column axis direction and carrier mobility in the active layer.
