The hole mobility in the spin-coated thin films of alkyl-substituted phthalocyanine (CnPcH2), which is promising as a donor material for organic solar cells, has been studied by Photo-CELIV method. The obvious transient current could successfully be obtained by the efficient carrier generation at the interface with C60 accepter layer. The alkyl chain length dependence of the hole mobility has been found, and the hole transport mechanism has been discussed by taking the columnar structure of CnPcH2 into consideration.
