[16p-P9-33] Radiation-induced luminescence of Ce-doped CaMgSiO₄ Ceramics

In this study, we have synthesized CaMgSiO₄:Ce ceramics by solid-state reaction and characterized radiation-induced luminescence properties. The latter material mainly consits of light elements, so it is of great interest for dosimetry applications. In particular, sensitivity of optically-stimulated luinescence was found out to be notably high, and we were able to measure radiation dose as low as 3 mGy using an ordinary spectrofluorometer.
