[16p-P9-36] Radioluminescence properties of praseodymium doped calcium fluoride crystals

Eu²⁺ ions doped CaF₂ is known as a scintillator for charged particles measurement. Eu²⁺ ions doped CaF₂ has a high light yield and a long decay time. In the present study, we aimed to develop a scintillator with a short decay time using CaF₂ as a host material. We focused Pr³⁺ ions as an activator, and prepared and evaluated CaF₂ crystals doped with Pr³⁺ ions at various concentrations.
