Ferroelectric charged domain walls (CDWs) are known as their switching phenomena of conductivity. To applying those to practical switching devices, it is necessary to establish the technology for induction of CDWs at needed positions. In this study, sloped line patterns were fabricated on the surface of vicinal SrTiO3 (110) substrare to induce CDWs, then BiFeO3 thin film was prepared on that. As the result, CDWs were found to be induced at the boundary of sloped line patterns.
