△ [17a-F205-4] Issues and Approaches on Detection of Extremely Low Concentrations of Substances
Keywords:optical-sensing, EFA-NI biosensor, immunoassay
Immunoassay-based methods for detection of biological substances have been widely used in various applications. However, sensors that have high sensitivity have a serious influence of scratch on the surface and non-specific adsorption for their sensitivity. Therefore, they needs cumbersome washing protocols. To realize detection of substances at extremely low concentrations (aM, fM level), sensing methods that have small sensing area have serious disadvantages. In this study, we will report these issues on detection of extremely low concentrations of substances, and will introduce an external force-assisted near-field illumination (EFA-NI) biosensor as one of the approaches.
