[17a-P4-1] Synthesis and opto-electronic devices of poly(cyclopentadithiophene)s

Poly(cyclopentadithiophene)s have been designed and synthesized by palladium catalyzed direct arylation, Suzuki coupling, or Stille coupling reactions. Organic electronic devices such as photovoltaics, thin film transistors, and lithium ion batteries were fabricated using obtained conjugated polymers. The lifetime of these devices was enhanced by the chemical design and modification of the molecular structures (e.g. thermal crosslinking).
