△ [17a-P4-13] Comparison between Measured and Theoretical Surface Strains of Bending Flexible Film.
Keywords:Flexible film, Surface strain, Bending behavior
In recent years, flexible devices have been focused. Mechanistic understanding of flexible materials is indispensable for these developments. However, a method to analyze the deformation of a flexible material has not been established. Therefore, the deformation of flexible material is based on solid mechanical theory. Recently, we have developed a surface-labeled grating method that enables quantitative and microscopic deformation analysis of film surfaces. In this study, We performed a quantitative analysis of surface strain of bending flexible films, and compared the surface strain with that predicted by solid mechanical theory.
